power to the denim
power to the denim︕.

The theme of the exhibition is "POWER TO THE DENIM" and is based on the 1970's era.The company released products under the theme of the 1970s.In the 1970s, a counterculture was created by young people who refused to be bound by organizations and systems, and denim went from fashion to a message. In the 1970s, fashion was diversified by new values, such as breaking away from old morals and rules, diversifying from uniformity, and respecting different cultures, and denim was at the center of all of them.
This project, titled "POWER TO THE DENIM," will release limited-edition products along with EDWIN archives from the 70's, while comparing such historical backgrounds and mindsets with the present.

Power to the Denim Now!

The second POWER TO THE DENIM project is remade jeans created by upcycling.

Edouin produces about 2 million pairs of jeans a year at its own factories in Japan.
There are strict Edoin standards for commercialization, and a certain number of defective products are produced in the process of production.
Although we sell them at outlets and reuse them in our recycled denim CO:RE
Even so, there are still some that cannot be fully processed.
We have upcycled them and reborn them as new concept products.
The 1970s, which is also the theme of POWER TO THE DENIM
In the 1970s, the hippies were trying to live a recycling-oriented life with what is now called a sustainable spirit.

We remade all of our products by hand, using vintage clothing from the 1970s as a reference.
The silhouettes, designs, and no two are the same, all one-of-a-kind.
